Meet the Pet Grooming Staff here at Sparta Pet Shoppe & Spa.
Stephanie Harrigan – Owner
Hi! I’m Stephanie, owner of Sparta Pet Shoppe and Spa. I have worked in the pet industry for over 20 years, with experience in pet grooming and training. I have a certification in working with Special Needs dogs, but my favorites are the Extra Large breeds!
My goal is to provide compassionate care to all pets left in my care.
I have a 9 year old Australian Shepard named Arlo, who loves joining me at work!
If I could give one piece of advice for owners, it would be to start grooming with a professional as soon as possible. The more familiar they are with the process at an early age, the better their chances will be of having successful grooms for their lifetime.

Hi! I’m Eunice.
I love animals. I grew up around dogs, and I found that I love grooming. I love seeing that smile on our pet parent’s faces when they see their fur baby freshly groomed. And I love seeing the before and after pictures.
What I enjoy about working at Sparta Pet Shoppe & Spa is the family vibe. We all work together to make it an enjoyable an experience for your pet.
I have a 3 year old poodle, Max, at home.
If I were to make one recommendation to pet parents to help them make the experience a positive one for their pet, it would be to try to develop a routine of brushing your pet’s coat. Besides the bonding experience, it helps to reduce matting and keeps your dog’s skin in good condition.

I’m Arlo. I greet the dogs and humans when they come in and keep the dogs company. When they’re nervous about having their nails clipped or something else grooming related, I will let Mom demonstrate on me so they can see it’s not a problem.
